We offer a range of rustic yet crafted stairs and ballustrades that match in with one of our barn frames or that can stand alone as a feature in your conventionally build home. These can be supplied and installed at the same time the barn is raised if desired. We take care of the engineering and build all stairs and ballustrades to meet Building Code requirements.

Our gate range includes new styles as well as more traditional designs but with the addition of reclaimed character timber. We use reclaimed telephone crossarms for the hardwood features and Totara battens for the more rustic elements. The feature elements can be finished in an exterior oil to give a lasting colour contrast, left natural to grey off with time or treated naturally to gray off before they leave the shop. The gate frames are made from a range of local timbers including Macrocarpa, Lawsons Cypress, Redwood or Hardwood. You can order a custom design and standard size or we can work together to custom make one for you.

Sliding barn doors made of character timber are one of our core products in the joinery shop. We use a hardwood spline construction method with hidden fixings to provide both strength and beauty that shows off the timbers. We have standard styles and can make a range of sizes to suite your space.

We can make hinged post and rail barn doors to meet your requirements. We use a range of stable timbers including NZ Totara and Macrocarpa. We are able to make doors for inside and for some external applications too.
