Heritage Timbercraft restores and rebuilds historic timber frame barns from the 18th and 19th centuries which we source, import and restore from the USA and Canada. These buildings are either hand-hewn or sawn on early mills out of native forests by the original settlers and have incredible character and craftsmanship.

We have a large range of antique hand-hewn beams, threshing floor planks, reclaimed Ash flooring and barn siding as well as local reclaimed Totara and Hardwood timber. We can work with you to incorporate these into your home or can simply supply you with the materials . ….read more

Custom Post and Beam
We design, engineer and build custom post and beam trusses, entry ways and homes using reclaimed material. We have been doing post and beam using traditional mortise and tenon joinery with Oak pegs for over 12 years and have worked with a number of councils throughout the country to engineer buildings that meet the local eathquake requirements.
